A free arts advocacy training webinar is being offered to all interested individuals, on Saturday, February 16 at 9 a.m. KSAAE is hosting this event and has invited Henry Schwaller, President of Kansas Citizens for the Arts, to present skills and key points to assist those advocating for the arts and arts education to our legislators. This session is being provided in preparation for Arts Day at the Capitol, being held on February 28th. The webinar is limited to 25 participants, on a first come, first served basis. Additional sessions may be available upon request.
The Schedule of Activities for Arts Day at the Capitol on February 28 is as follows:
11:00am Dillon House – 404 SW 9th Street (directly west of capitol) • Legislative Review and Summary • Box lunches (paid for by attendees)
1:30pm Throughout the Capitol Building • Legislative office visits
5:00pm Jayhawk Tower – 700 SW Jackson Street • Reception for Legislators & Arts Advocates
