Kansas A+ Pilot Program

The Kansas Alliance for Arts Education (KSAAE) and the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission (KCAIC) would like to invite you to an information meeting on November 17th at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, or November 18th at City Arts Center in Wichita, from 4:30 – 6:00 pm, to learn about A+ Schools.  The event will provide information on an upcoming opportunity for two Kansas schools to participate in a pilot program based on the A+ Essentials ™.

In today’s innovation based economy, creativity is at a premium. KCAIC and KSAAE are working with Oklahoma A+ Schools to bring this multistate-research based whole school educational model to Kansas. The meeting will provide an opportunity to learn more about A+ Schools and the potential for becoming one of two schools to participate in the pilot program. During these meetings, we are interested in receiving input on how to adapt the A+ program to meet the needs of students in Kansas. Please join us in this important conversation.
